SINCLAIR, Wyo. (AP) - Officials say a fire at the Sinclair refinery in Carbon County caused no injuries or serious damage.

Sinclair Oil Refinery community relations director Ryta Sondergard tells the Rawlins Daily Times (https://bit.ly/2gwGuYe ) that the fire occurred about 2:30 a.m. Monday in one of the refinery’s four operating units.

Sondergard says there was no explosion and the fire was contained within 90 minutes.

An internal investigation into the cause of the fire has been started, and an outside agency also will look into the fire.

Sondergard says there was no danger to the town of Sinclair or any of the surrounding area.
