ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - A reputed member of the Bloods street gang has been indicted on charges including second-degree murder for the fatal Thanksgiving morning shooting at a bar popular with Albany’s LGBT community.

A four-count indictment was unsealed Monday in state Supreme Court that charged 30-year-old Kareem Blacknall with the execution-style slaying of a rival gang member at Rocks on Central Avenue.

Prosecutors say Blacknall fatally shot 26-year-old Wendell “Nuke” Hill when he opened fire inside the club around 2 a.m. on Nov. 24. Three other people were wounded.

Police say investigators have obtained evidence that suggests the men knew each other and Hill was Blacknall’s intended target. Hill was reportedly a member of the Young Gunnerz gang in Troy.

Blacknall will be arraigned on Wednesday after he hires an attorney.
