TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Alabama has signed a pair of junior college linemen to start its 2017 recruiting class.

The Crimson Tide on Wednesday announced the signing of offensive lineman Elliot Baker and defensive end Isaiah Buggs. Baker is a 6-foot-7, 295-pounder out of San Francisco Community College. A four-star prospect, he’s rated as the top junior college tackle prospect.

Buggs is a 6-4, 290-pounder from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He’s rated a five-star prospect.

Both are ranked among the top five JUCO prospects by recruiting services.

Baker and Buggs will enroll in January and go through spring drills with Alabama.
