PORTLAND, Maine (AP) - A jury says a Portland man is guilty of murder for shooting another man in 2014.

The Portland Press Herald (https://bit.ly/2gBC0Qg ) reports 25-year-old Abdirahman Haji-Hassan (ab-deer-RAH’-mun HAH’-jee-huh-san) was found guilty after a jury deliberated for 2½ hours on Monday.

Haji-Hassan was charged with shooting 23-year-old Richard Lobor during a dispute at another man’s apartment in Brighton a little more than two years ago. Authorities say Haji-Hassan shot Lobor and then fled to Minneapolis, where he was arrested about a month later.

Haji-Hassan returned to Maine to face the murder charge and pleaded not guilty. He faces 25 years to life in prison.
