GASTONIA, N.C. (AP) - Police in Gastonia have arrested a man wanted for a shooting death in South Carolina more than two years ago.

Police Capt. Mike Lari told local media that 36-year-old Terence Dion Studyvance was one of four suspects in the shooting death of a man at an apartment in Gaffney, South Carolina.

Twenty-seven-year-old Timothy Blair was shot June 22, 2014. Police said they got an anonymous tip from Crime Stoppers about Studyvance.

Police searched two Gastonia apartments Tuesday morning. Studyvance was arrested a short time later.

Lari says investigators don’t know how long Studyvance had been in the Gastonia area. He is awaiting extradition to South Carolina. It was not known if he has an attorney.
