NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - New Castle County Police have arrested a 55-year-old in connection with the hit-and-run that injured a 12-year-old boy.

Authorities say Marsha Williams is charged with leaving the scene of a collision resulting in injury and failure to report a collision resulting in injury. Williams, who turned herself in Tuesday evening, was arraigned and released on her own recognizance.

Police say detectives were able to locate the vehicle involved in the Dec. 5 incident and determined that Williams was behind the wheel when it struck the boy, who suffered several broken bones.
