HARRISONVILLE, Mo. (AP) - Fire crews have been working to put out a fire at an apartment complex in Harrisonville.

KMBC-TV reports (https://j.mp/2gPiPYb) that crews responded to the blaze Thursday afternoon after someone reported seeing flames coming from one of the low-rise buildings in the complex.

No injuries were reported.

Police urged the public to avoid the area.

Harrisonville is a town of about 10,000 residents and is located south of Kansas City.
