NEW YORK (AP) - Police in New York City say one man has died after he and two other men were struck by a minivan while attempting to change a flat tire along the side of Interstate 95 in the Bronx.

Police say the 52-year-old motorist was traveling north when he collided with three men standing on the left shoulder of I-95 near Bartow Avenue around 2 a.m. Thursday.

Two of the victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Jacobi Medical Center in stable condition. An unidentified 29-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police do not expect to charge the driver.

An investigation into the fatal collision continues.
