DUXBURY, Vt. (AP) - More than 800 households are without power in Duxbury, Fayston and Moretown after wind knocked a tree onto a main power line.

Washington Electric Co-op expects to have service restored by Thursday evening.

The cooperative says crews have been working on the repair since 1 p.m.

Temperatures are falling as a strong Artic cold front moved into the region. Vermont public safety officials have warned residents to limit their time outdoors at least through Friday with dangerous wind chills of minus-35 in the forecast.
