ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A 73-year-old man has been jailed on charges he robbed a Pennsylvania bank and stabbed a female employee in the process.

Harvey Fitz III remained in the Lancaster County jail Thursday on charges including robbery and aggravated assault.

Police say the man entered the M&T; Bank in Elizabethtown just after 9 a.m. Wednesday and stabbed the worker while demanding cash. She’s been treated for wounds that police say aren’t life-threatening and should recover fully.

Police say Fitz drove away in a Jeep Cherokee, which police caught up to in his hometown of Mount Joy, where Fitz was arrested.

Online court records don’t list an attorney for Fitz, who face a preliminary hearing Dec. 29.
