SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Scottsdale police say a man has been arrested the death of his father, who was found with four large stab wounds in his upper chest and two plastic trash bags around his head.

Police say 38-year-old Matthew Libman is being held on suspicion of one count of second-degree murder.

Bond was set at $500,000 Thursday at Libman’s initial court appearance where he didn’t have an attorney.

He was arrested Wednesday in the death of 73-year-old Kip Libman.

Police say the father’s body was found in his home after officers responded to a call from the son.

They say Matthew Libman told officers he had a fight with his dad and he punched him in the face.

Police say it appears Kip Libman was on his back when he was stabbed.
