LYNDONVILLE, Vt. (AP) - Two families are homeless after an early morning fire destroyed a residence in Lyndonville, Vermont.

Investigators say an overheated wood stove pipe caused the fire on Friday.

The Caledonian Record reports (https://bit.ly/2hslSVe ) that no injuries were reported.

A fire captain says the fire likely started after one of the occupants stoked a wood-stove fire just before going to bed.

Firefighters responded shortly before 4 a.m.
