INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Indianapolis police say the body of a bicyclist killed in a hit-and-run crash apparently wasn’t discovered until about 12 hours after that crash.
Sgt. Kendale Adams tells The Indianapolis Star (https://indy.st/2hrO2PZ ) that the 51-year-old man found dead about 6 a.m. Friday along a city street was likely struck by a vehicle before 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Police have released no information on a possible suspect in the hit-and-run fatality.
The crash occurred near the Indianapolis International Airport on the city’s far southwest side.
