GORHAM, Maine (AP) - School officials in Maine say one of three children injured in a crash that killed her father has died.

Gorham School Superintendent Heather Perry tells The Portland Press Herald that officials learned Thursday that Paige Piawlock died Wednesday night of injuries she sustained in the Monday morning crash.

Narragansett Elementary Principal Cynthia Remick says the girl was a fifth-grader at the school.

Police say 45-year-old Joseph Piawlock was killed and his wife, 39-year-old Yvonne Piawlock was seriously hurt after their SUV collided with a dump truck in Gorham on a snow-covered road.

Paige and two other girls in the backseat had been hospitalized with critical injuries. The driver of the dump truck wasn’t hurt.
