Actor and comedian Tom Arnold claimed Friday that he owns a video of President-elect Donald Trump using racist and crude language during old outtakes for NBC’s “The Apprentice.”

“I have the outtakes to ‘The Apprentice’ where he says every bad thing ever, every offensive, racist thing ever,” Mr. Arnold told KIRO Radio’s Dori Monson. “I have that.”

He said he didn’t leak the video before the election and doesn’t plan to, because the people who edited it together meant it to be a funny joke and are now “scared to death” of the repercussions.

“When the people sent it to me, it was funny,” Mr. Arnold said. “Hundreds of people have seen these. It was sort of a Christmas video they put together. He wasn’t going to be president of the United States. It was him sitting in that chair saying the N-word, saying the C-word, calling his son a retard, just being so mean to his own children.”

Mr. Arnold said he didn’t think the video would have made a difference in the election, given that so many of Mr. Trump’s supporters admire his brashness.

“I think they would have liked him more, the people, for being politically incorrect,” the comedian said.

He added that he thinks the old footage “will come out” eventually.

A 2005 “Access Hollywood” recording surfaced in October of Mr. Trump making lewd comments about women, and an Associated Press report emerged alleging that the business mogul had a history of using offensive and sexist language on the set of “The Apprentice,” which he hosted for 11 years.

The Trump campaign called the report “outlandish” and “unsubstantiated.”

MGM, which owns “The Apprentice,” said at the time that it could not unilaterally release any unaired material due to existing confidentiality agreements.
