NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Two children have been killed and two adults injured in a mobile home fire in suburban Nashville.

Nashville Fire District Chief Jerry Tomlinson told WSMV-TV (https://bit.ly/2fTnvqs ) that neighbors saw the trailer on fire early Friday and pulled the victims out through a wall they tore in the back of the Madison home.

Fire department spokesman Brian Haas tells news outlets that a 2-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy died.

Haas says the two adults were hospitalized. He says one of them suffered life-threatening injuries.

Officials have not released the victims’ identities.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear. As of Friday morning, investigators didn’t believe it is suspicious.
