DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - A 37-year-old eastern Iowa man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for receiving and distributing child pornography.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in Davenport says Andrew Thomas Zinngrabe, of Bettendorf, was sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to the charges in July. There is no parole in the federal system.

Prosecutors say law enforcement officials were tipped that Zinngrabe was swapping child pornography images on the internet last year. Officials say a search of Zinngrabe’s computer revealed he had 1,680 pictures and six videos containing child pornography.
