FELTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a customer foiled a robbery of a convenience store in Felton.

Police say the suspect entered the Canterbury Shore Stop early Thursday and approached the counter with handgun.

Police say the suspect demanded that a male customer get on the floor, but the customer refused. Police say the customer then blocked the entryway when the suspect tried to get behind the counter.

Police say the suspect then fled without any merchandise or money.

The customer and employees were not injured in the incident.

Police say the suspect is a black male who was wearing a dark colored sweatshirt with gray and white colored pants.
