SAYREVILLE, N.J. (AP) - Bridge repairs will close the Garden State Parkway’s southbound local lanes in Sayreville this weekend.

Southbound through-traffic will be diverted to express lanes south of the Raritan tolls from 7 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Monday.

Crews will work to replace the deck of the bridge that carries traffic over Bordentown Avenue, just north of the Cheesequake Service Area.

Northbound lanes will remain open.

Southbound motorists should expect delays during peak travel times.
