DEER PARK, Wash. (AP) - A Deer Park woman faces a murder charge after a male body was found covered in tarps on her driveway.

60-year-old Gloria Redmann faces a second degree murder charge, in addition to charges of making false statements, unlawful disposal of remains and failure to notify authorities.

KREM-TV reports the body of 54-year-old Michael Ahlstrom was found in Deer Park on Wednesday afternoon.

The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office says he died from a gunshot wound to the chest.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office says Redmann told them Ahlstrom arrived at her house three days before and she did not let him inside. She told police that when she looked outside later, he was lying dead on her driveway.
