KEY WEST, Fla. (AP) - Two Florida athletes have won the men’s and women’s overall divisions respectively at the annual Key West Triathlon.

Defending champion Yunior Rosete Torres, 32, of Aventura finished in 1 hour, 56 minutes and 52 seconds Saturday. Meagan Bradley, 39, of Plantation posted a time of 2:20:56.

The Olympic-distance triathlon included a 1.5-kilometer swim, 40k bike ride and 10k run.

Second place in men’s went to 42-year-old Cobi Morales of Miami, finishing at 2:04:58. Daniel Reyes, 30, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, took third at 2:09:28.

In the women’s division, Pembroke Pines resident Evelyn Salama, 43, finished second at 2:24:22, while 27-year-old Maria Scharffenorth of Miami took third with 2:32:20.

The race attracted a record 1,025 registrants. It also included a sprint-distance triathlon and duathlon, aquabike challenge and relay divisions.
