BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - An 84-year-old Miles City man died after his pickup truck was struck by a train in Miles City.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the man’s pickup was on the BNSF Railway right-of-way just before 11 p.m. Friday when a westbound train approached. The train struck the rear driver’s side of the pickup, pushing it off the north side of the tracks.

The Billings Gazette reports (bit.ly/2gTeL5Z) the man was taken to the hospital in Miles City, where he later died. His name has not been released.
