Donald Trump gave a thumbs down to a “Saturday Night Live” spoof featuring Alec Baldwin as the Republican president-elect, calling it “unwatchable.”

“Just tried watching Saturday Night Live — unwatchable!” said Mr. Trump on Twitter. “Totally biased, unfunny and the Baldwin impersonation just can ‘t get any worse. Sad.”

The SNL opening skit mocked Mr. Trump’s frequent use of social media by showing him retweeting random people during a security briefing.

A staunch Trump critic, Mr. Baldwin responded on Twitter with, “Release your tax returns and I’ll stop. Ha.”

The skit featured cast member Kate McKinnon, who played Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton during the race, as Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway.

“There is a reason actually that Donald tweets so much, he does it to distract the media from his business conflicts and all the very scary people in his Cabinet,” Ms. McKinnon said during the skit, which drew polite laughter.
