RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Richmond police say a one-year-old child has been shot in the arm.

WWBT-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2h9FnSY) that the shooting occurred around 11:45 p.m. Sunday outside a North Richmond home. Officers arrived to find that several stray bullets had hit the home, and that one hit the one-year-old in the arm.

The child was inside the home at the time of the shooting. Police say the child is expected to be ok.

No one else inside the home was hit.

Police are now searching for a suspect.
