LAWRENCE, Mass. (AP) - The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court will hear oral arguments in four cases during a special sitting in Lawrence this week.

The special sitting provides an opportunity for students, media and residents of the local community to view the work of the state’s highest court. Normally, the high court hears arguments at the John Adams Courthouse in Boston.

The court will sit in Lawrence District Court Tuesday morning.

Students from Lawrence High School, Greater Lawrence Technical School and Central Catholic High School will attend the special sitting. After the oral arguments, Chief Justice Ralph Gants and the court’s six associate justices will answer questions from the students.
