MINEOLA, N.Y. (AP) - Police on Long Island are investigating after a swastika and racist graffiti was spray painted on sidewalks in Mineola.

The Nassau County Police Department says the incidents were reported last Wednesday at 6:30 a.m.

Police say they found a red spray painted swastika along with the words “Make America White Again” in black spray paint.

Also, they reported finding vulgar and disparaging remarks about blacks and Middle Eastern people.

The graffiti was found in two locations in the village east of New York City.
