CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Light snow is falling over much of New Hampshire, making for some difficult driving conditions and a number of accidents.

The snow was falling during the Monday morning commute. The National Weather Service said visibility dropped to near or below a half-mile at times. Stopped traffic and accidents, including spin-outs and wrecks, were reported on highways such as the Everett Turnpike.

Some schools delayed opening. School bus accidents were reported in Hampstead, Manchester and Lebanon. There was no word of injuries.

Up to 2 inches of snow was expected. The snow was making its way to Maine.
