HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (AP) - Two men have been found dead in a Huntington apartment from what investigators believe were drug overdoses.

Huntington Police Chief Joe Ciccarelli tells The Herald-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/2gzt6mN ) that the bodies were found Monday and could have been inside the apartment for as long as a week.

Ciccarelli says the initial evaluation of the scene suggested a drug overdose, but the official cause of death will be determined following the men’s autopsies.

Authorities did not immediately release the men’s identities.
