WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Wilmington Police say a man charged in a fatal shooting in 2011 has been extradited to Delaware.

The department said in a news release that 31-year-old Antione Anderson was turned over to officials at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institute in Wilmington on Monday. He is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 39-year-old Ernie Cole.

Police say on October 2, 2011, officers found Cole’s body on a sidewalk at 17th and Thatcher streets. He died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Anderson is being held on $1 million cash bail.
