FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Flagstaff police have identified a man whose body was found on a bench outside a church.

The Arizona Daily Sun reports (https://bit.ly/2gzgz2O ) that police say a maintenance worker was walking the church grounds Wednesday when he found 59-year-old Ward Tsingine on his back under a bench outside the church.

The maintenance worker performed CPR until paramedics arrived to take over, but they were unable to revive Tsingine.

Officers identified the man by his Arizona driver’s license. The police report says Tsingine’s daughter told officers she saw him the evening before his body was found. She said Tsingine came to Flagstaff from Tuba City with his brother to do work on a car.

It’s not clear how Tsingine died, but the temperature dropped to just 7 degrees in Flagstaff that night.
