TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Pima County Sheriff’s officials say a missing man has been found dead in a Green Valley wash.

They’ve identified him as 37-year-old William Kenneth Darrow and say initial indications show the death may be accidental.

Sheriff’s officials say a jogger spotted a man’s body in a wash about 4:30 p.m. Monday and it was later identified as Darrow.

They say the investigation is ongoing pending an autopsy.

Darrow was listed as a missing person from his home in Green Valley on Dec. 1.

His mother requested deputies from the Green Valley District to conduct a welfare check Nov. 25 after she hadn’t heard from him in two days.

When deputies arrived at Darrow’s residence, they noticed his door was open but there was no sign of him at the home.
