TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - A wet ride home could be worse for commuters in northwest New Jersey.

A winter weather advisory is in effect for Sussex County from 4 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Forecasters say 2 to 4 inches of snow are possible as a wintry mix of rain, wet snow and sleet spreads across the area. Snow is expected to change over to rain during the overnight.

Snow is possible on untreated roads and bridges. Motorists are advised to be cautious.
