STAFFORD, Va. (AP) - Officials say a Virginia Railway Express train struck an SUV at a crossing, but no one was hurt.

WJLA-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2hdS7Z0 ) that the Stafford County Sheriff’s Department says a Jeep Liberty stalled on the tracks after the driver got lost Tuesday morning. The driver and two occupants got out before the train hit the Jeep and no one was injured.

Riders were stuck on the northbound Fredericksburg train for two hours before they were taken to the Quantico station and then returned to their station of origin. Other trains on the line experienced significant delays and cancellations.
