PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - Crews are looking for a snowmobiler who went missing in the mountains near the southwestern Colorado town of Creede over the weekend.

The Mineral County Sheriff’s Office says the 35-year-old became separated from a friend while snowmobiling in the Fern Creek area Sunday afternoon. The Pueblo Chieftain reports ( ) searchers set out Sunday night but were hindered by poor weather and deep snow.

The search, which resumed Monday morning, included snowmobiles and enclosed snow machines.

The missing snowmobiler has only been identified as a Mineral County resident.
