WILLIAMS, Pa. (AP) - Cash-paying motorists should anticipate delays, especially during peak hours, because of an accident at the Interstate 78 toll bridge that links Pennsylvania with New Jersey.

Police say a tractor-trailer veered into a concrete barrier separating two of the toll lanes. That knocked out one of the lanes.

The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission says it can’t reopen all lanes until a new barrier can be designed and installed. There is no word when that will happen.

Cash-paying motorists heading from Phillipsburg, New Jersey, to Williams on I-78 west may encounter congestion and delays.

The truck driver was injured and charged with reckless driving.
