SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - The trustees of the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture in Spokane have voted to remove Forrest Rodgers as the museum’s executive director.

The vote occurred Wednesday evening.

Board president Toni Pessemier is declining to comment on the firing, calling it a personnel matter.

The board named John Moredo-Burich as interim director. Moredo-Burich has worked as the museum for more than a year as director of museum experience.

This is not the first time Rodgers has been fired. In 2012, the MAC board ousted him shortly after he was hired. He regained his job three months later.
