SAN ANTONIO (AP) - San Antonio police have submitted the Bexar (BEAR) County District Attorney’s Office their findings of an investigation into the police shooting of an unarmed man.

Chief William McManus said Thursday that the findings on the shooting of Antronie Scott had been submitted for review by prosecutors. He said some forensic evidence is still being processed, and an internal affairs investigation is still underway.

Scott was fatally shot last week as officers tried to serve two felony warrants for his arrest. Police said the officer mistook a cellphone that Scott was holding for a weapon and fired.
