PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (AP) - Ohio Gov. John Kasich is continuing his campaign swing through South Carolina with several stops in the northeastern part of the state.

The Republican presidential hopeful is participating in a town hall on Thursday at Applewood House of Pancakes in Pawleys Island. Later in the day, he holds two more town hall meetings in North Myrtle Beach and Florence.

Kasich finished second in New Hampshire’s Republican primary earlier this week. He launched this South Carolina campaign swing with a town hall meeting in Mount Pleasant, a veterans jobs event in downtown Charleston and a tour of Nucor Steel’s facility in Huger.

On Friday, Kasich takes part in a lunch with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce in Columbia and holds two more events in Orangeburg and Bluffton.
