SEATTLE (AP) - Microsoft employees are celebrating raising $125 million for charitable nonprofits in 2015.

KING-TV reports (https://kng5.tv/1Rtbg3P ) that more than $62 million of that sum went to Washington state nonprofits.

The donations were matched by Microsoft’s Employee Giving Program, which matches evert dollar raised by its employees, up to $15,000 each year.

In 2015, 71 percent of Microsoft’s employees took part in the giving program. The $125 million raised in 2015 was also the most raised in the program’s history. Donations went to 18,000 different nonprofits.
