LONDON (AP) - West Ham midfielder Dimitri Payet has agreed a contract which will keep him at the club until 2021.

The Premier League club announced the deal on Thursday which comes seven months after the Frenchman moved to England from French side Marseille.

He has scored six goals in 18 Premier League games with West Ham in sixth place.

Payet has played 15 times for France and could be in contention for the national squad at this year’s European Championship, which is being held in his native country.
