NEMACOLIN, Pa. (AP) - A southwestern Pennsylvania couple have been found dead in their home.

The Greene County coroner and Cumberland Township police have been investigating since the bodies were found about 8 a.m. Thursday.

State police from nearby Waynesburg were assisting with the crime scene.

The township police weren’t answering their phone early Thursday afternoon and the coroner’s office had no information to release.

The couple’s former son-in-law told the (Washington) Observer-Reporter that the couple was in their mid-60s.

Authorities haven’t said whether they’re treating the deaths as a murder-suicide, or whether they’re searching for a suspect.

The couple’s house is in Nemacolin, an unincorporated section of the township about 45 miles south of Pittsburgh.
