NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Evening commuters on Amtrak and New Jersey Transit are facing delays after an earlier problem at the Portal Bridge in Hackensack.

New Jersey Transit says the problem was fixed around 5 p.m. and both tracks were in service. Rail riders should expect delays of about 20 minutes.

Earlier, emergency track repairs at the Hackensack River drawbridge caused delays on PATH trains between Newark and the World Trade Center.

Service was back on normal schedule by about 3 p.m.
