TUPELO, Miss. (AP) - Tupelo fire crews remain at the scene of a mattress company fire.

WTVA TV reports (https://bit.ly/1mwnk7m) the blaze broke out Friday around 1 a.m. at the Sleeper Craft plant.

Fire Chief Thomas Walker says the fire stretched from one side of the building to the other.

He says the mattresses and foam only added to the flames, but crews were able to extinguish the blaze by 3:30.

Walker says fire crews are monitoring the scene to make sure it doesn’t reignites.

The fire caused heavy damage to the building and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
