FLORENCE, Ala. (AP) - Police say a man accused of assaulting a woman with a shotgun and robbing her after she refused to pay him money back has been arrested.

Authorities say Wright and the 34-year-old woman from Tuscumbia met online and came to his home. The police report says Wright gave her money at some point and decided he wanted the money back.

Police Detective Kevin Jackson says she refused to return the money and Wright struck her in the face, head and body with a shotgun at least four times.

Jackson says unidentified woman has been released from the hospital with home broken bone.
