ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) - Jackson Donahue sank five 3-pointers and scored a career-high 25 points to lead Penn to a 92-84 win over Cornell on Saturday night.

Matt Howard added 20 points for Penn (9-12, 3-4 Ivy League) and Darien Nelson-Henry had 15 to go with 16 rebounds. Sam Jones scored 14 points for the Quakers, who shot 47 percent (28 of 60) and controlled the glass 45-32 to rebound from Friday’s loss to Columbia.

Cornell (9-13, 2-6) trailed most of the game but stayed close and cut the deficit to 86-84 on Robert Hatter’s layup with 28 seconds left before Penn clinched it with 6-for-6 shooting from the free-throw line. Jones had four of the foul shots and Donahue, who got 13 of his points in the second half, sank the other two.

Matt Morgan led Cornell with 28 points, Hatter finished with 21 points and JoJo Fallas had 16.
