WEST ALLIS, Wis. (AP) - Milwaukee County authorities say a man who was found dead in Greenfield Park in West Allis likely died from exposure to the cold.

The sheriff’s office says in a statement that the man was found just before 8 a.m. Sunday in the county-run park in Milwaukee’s western suburbs. He was pronounced dead shortly after West Allis firefighters arrived.

The statement says foul play is not suspected.

National Weather Service data show that overnight lows in the area were around zero.

The man’s name is being withheld pending notification of family members. The sheriff’s office says his name and other details will be released Monday.

Greenfield Park covers over 280 acres and includes an 18-hole golf course.
