PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) - Police say a 17-year-old boy suspected of shooting two other teens on a basketball court at a Peoria park has been arrested.

Investigators say the 16-year-old and 14-year-old who were shot late Monday afternoon at Braewood Park are expected to survive their injuries.

The source of the dispute between the 17-year-old and the two victims is under investigation.

Authorities say a struggle ensued after the 17-year-old displayed a gun as the two other boys were on the basketball court.

Police say the 17-year-old left the scene after he fired shots.

He was later booked on suspicion of aggravated assault.

The Associated Press is not naming the 17-year-old because of his age.

It’s not known whether he has a lawyer yet.
