MINOT, N.D. (AP) - A pastor at a Minot church says it’s planning to step up security after a man was caught stealing in the church office while a service was being held.

Police arrested a 22-year-old Minot man a few blocks from Our Savior Lutheran Church after getting a report Sunday morning of a man entering the office uninvited. Authorities say the man had stolen property from the church and also stolen credit cards from a separate incident.

The Rev. Paul Krueger, senior pastor at the church, tells the Minot Daily News (https://bit.ly/1Vj9Nwa ) that the church is looking into boosting its security, including adding surveillance cameras and motion detectors.

The church was also broken into last spring, but Krueger said the church suffered no significant theft then.
