INDIANA, Pa. (AP) - The mother of a Pennsylvania man found hanging from a rope - but also shot in the face - wants his body exhumed so his family can challenge the coroner’s ruling that he killed himself.

The Indiana Gazette (https://bit.ly/1Oea79M ) reports an Indiana County judge will hear the request March 4.

Forty-seven-year-old Andrew Dubnansky was found dead Dec. 4 by his wife in woods near his home. Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman didn’t conduct an autopsy but ruled the death suicide, saying the gunshot wound was self-inflicted. The coroner says Dubnansky killed himself after discussing marital troubles with his wife and leaving to go hunting.

Bradley Ophaug (OH’-fawg), the attorney for Dubnansky’s mother, says his relatives doubt the suicide finding, saying he had a girlfriend, job and planned to leave his wife and move in with his brother.
