RENO, Nev. (AP) - A Georgia-based company is proposing a $50 million student-housing development in Reno.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reports (https://on.rgj.com/1RJGmnV ) that according to permits, Landmark Properties of Athens, Georgia, has proposed the project, which would be called “The Standard at Reno.”

Landmark has built five other properties with similar names in other cities throughout the country.

The Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents has approved a new University of Nevada, Reno, College of Business that would be located across the street from the Standard at Reno.

Landmark officials were not available for comment.
